Retail Anywhere Enhances its POS
Solution with Ingenico Integration and Electronic Signature
Capture
Atascadero, CA., August 7, 2008 – Retail
Anywhere, a leader in providing integrated software and services
for mid-size retailers, today announced integration of Ingenico
products with Retail Anywhere Point of Sale software. The
combined solution offers a secure PCI PED payment application
while providing retailers with a positive ROI through electronic
signature capture.
Integrating Retail Anywhere POS with the Ingenico i6580 enables
retailers using the combined solution to receive great benefit
through signature capture functionality. Electronic signature
capture and automated receipt retrieval provides a quantifiable
and qualitative return to retailers. At the POS, electronic
signature capture speeds customer service by eliminating paper
receipt handling and the customer signing process. Physical
handling of credit card receipts in the back office is also
eliminated and the opportunity for employee fraud is decreased.
Lookup errors, labor cost, penalties and losses involved in
responding to charge back requests are minimized, if not
completely eliminated. Also, the legal and security issues
involved in the storage and shredding of outdated receipts is
removed.
Retail Anywhere recently rolled out more
than 200 Ingenico i6580’s to three retail clients. The roll
outs are proving to be a great success; achieving ROI through a
faster checkout process and cost reductions due to the
elimination of credit card receipt handling.
